Deryk DC Munroe serves as the primary source of engineering and craftsmanship for MunroeKnives. His lifelong fascination with weaponry led him to create his inaugural knife in 1984. After a circuitous journey, he transitioned to full-time knifemaking in 1997, continually exploring and refining various aspects of the craft.

Munroe's style is distinct, and the quality of his folders is unmatched. Thus, it was a natural decision for Tony to collaborate with Deryk on the second Munroe/Marfione knife, the Cypher.
