The popularity of the Launch 4 has prompted the introduction of several smaller automatic knives from Kershaw Knives.
Introducing the Launch 9. Although it might resemble a scaled-down version of Kershaw's best-selling Launch 2, the Launch 9 possesses its unique charm. Its compact size makes it highly portable and suitable for a wide range of scenarios where a more discreet appearance is preferred. It exudes a refined aesthetic, almost akin to a gentleman's automatic knife.
However, it's only "almost." The Launch 9 boasts a CPM-154 drop-point blade with a deep stonewashed finish. CPM-154 steel excels in edge retention, provides good resistance to corrosion, wear, and is remarkably tough.
Similar to other members of the Launch series, the Launch 9's handle is crafted from anodized aluminum. In this case, it's anodized in an attractive olive drab, perfect for everyday use. A push-button on the handle swiftly deploys the blade, and pushing the button again allows you to fold the blade back into the handle.
The Launch 9 incorporates an integrated backspacer featuring a lanyard hole, ideal for attaching a paracord, and a reversible pocket clip that can be positioned for left or right-handed users with a tip-up carry orientation.
