Antique knife crafted by the master engravers of Val Trompia.
Master Giovanelli and his apprentices created this entirely handmade work of art on commission of a noble from Florence.
Only 3 examples were ever produced.

The nude Venus figure on the handle, embracing the briar root burl, is made of solid silver (approximately 320 grams). The guard is also in silver.

The carbon steel blade features gold inlay (approximately 5 grams) using the traditional "dovetail" (coda di rondine / swallowtail) setting method.

There is no official certificate, but this is undoubtedly a high-end, prestigious piece. It was displayed for 40 years in the home of Gianni Campolin in Maniago.
