**The New Cypher Generation 2**
This knife features a newly designed pair of handle scales with hidden screws. The previous glass breaker has been removed, and the lanyard hole is now integrated into the chassis. However, don't worry—this model still includes a sleek, upgraded glass breaker located at the back.

You may also notice that the pocket clip resembles that of the Glykons. But the most significant upgrade is one you can't immediately see: the new drive system. It’s faster, provides a harder firing action, and is incredibly easy to open and retract. The new mechanism delivers a smooth, fast action, while the upgraded button provides enhanced comfort and a secure grip. Additionally, the button channel is milled with a pattern that ensures any debris that may get trapped inside is easily expelled.

The rear of the handle is also ported to help remove anything that gets stuck inside. This new style of OTF (Out the Front) automatic from Microtech is a tribute to the company’s roots in the auto market, while showcasing subtle engineering advancements that keep them at the forefront of the industry—all while maintaining an accessible price point for consumers.
